Q: How late can I send my registration?

A: If the deadline for registration has passed, you may contact us to see if we still have openings in the class. We are able to take additional students if the class is not full. Class size is limited to a maximum of 20 students dependent on room size.

Q: Can I take the PMCC class if I have no medical background?

A: Yes, however the course is intense and will require extra effort on the students part if they have no medical background. It is recommended that students have a basic understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.

Q: Are you a certified coder when you finish the PMCC class?

A: No. Students are given a certicate of completion for the course but the actual coding credentials are awarded thru national companies independent of KCCI. Your instructor will give you information about your options in class.

Q: How do I pay for my class?

A: KCCI accepts personal checks, business checks, cashiers checks and money orders.

Q: Do you help with job placement if I take the PMCC class?

A: No, but we do provide you with information about a local organization that provides great networking opportunities.

Q: When is the next PMCC class?

A: The PMCC class is offered every spring starting in January and again in the fall starting in July. The specific dates will be posted under the registration form tab when the class arrangements are finalized.
