Our Business

KCCI was established in 1999 to provide quality medical coding educational courses. It has been our goal to continue quality programs to the greater Kansas City metro area medical coding community.

We provide two PMCC classes per year with one being offered each semester. We also offer sessions of the class for continuing education.

Who We Are

Primary Instructor:  Martha Tracy,CPC, CPC-I

AAPC PMCC Approved Instructor

Martha has over 25 years of experience in the health care industry, having first earned her BS in biology and psychology at Baker University. She is a Certified Professional Coder thru the AAPC since 1997. She became a licensed PMCC instructor in 2000. Her background consists of medical assisting, supervising, coding and education physicians and clinical staff. She has taught at Penn Valley Community College and at Johnson County Community College. She has taught for KCCI since 1999. Martha is currently the Coding and Compliance manager for a local cardiology practice.

Secondary Instructor:  Kevin Tracy, RN,CEN

Kevin has over 29 years of experience in the medical field, having earned his BS degree in Business Administration from Emporia State University and his BS degree in nursing from Wichita State University. Kevin has primarly worked in ER's and obtained his emergency nursing certification in 1993. He currently works as a procedure nurse for a cardiology practice here in Kansas City.
